Introduction

Welcome to Belora ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and us for your use of our website, apps, APIs, and related services (the “Service”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Acceptance and scope

These Terms apply globally and incorporate our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any supplemental terms for specific features. If there is a conflict, the supplemental terms govern.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Service scope

Belora provides digital, online services (AI image generation and related tools). We do not sell physical goods or provide human services such as consulting, design, or marketing deliverables.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction).
  • If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must supervise and consent.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present risk.

Subscriptions, credits, and fees

Belora offers free and paid plans and may use a credit system for usage. Pricing and features are shown on our pricing page.

Payments

Payments are processed by Polar as the Merchant of Record (MoR). We do not store full card data and only keep transaction records necessary to provide the Service.

Auto‑renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. We will notify you of material price changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided, except where required by law. In addition, as Merchant of Record, Polar may issue refunds or cancel subscriptions to comply with legal, risk, or policy requirements.

Credits

Credits may expire, are non‑transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Unused credits may be forfeited when an account is closed.

Failed payments

If payment fails, we may retry and/or restrict access. Chargebacks or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or termination.

Service changes and availability

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or infringing activities
  • Generate violent, hateful, or unlawful content
  • Violate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Create deceptive or harmful content (e.g., malicious deepfakes)
  • Spam, scrape, or abuse the Service
  • Interfere with systems, security, or data integrity

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

AI content safety

To protect users and comply with our payment and platform partners, you must not use the Service to generate or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving minors or any exploitative content
  • Explicit or pornographic adult content (including AI‑generated NSFW content)
  • Extreme violence, gore, or graphic injury
  • Hate, harassment, or discrimination against protected groups
  • Instructions for illegal activities, malware, or weaponization
  • Content that violates privacy, publicity, or copyright laws
  • Content or services intended for or marketed to minors

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and report serious violations as required by law.

User content and intellectual property

Your inputs and outputs

You are responsible for inputs you provide and for how you use outputs. Outputs may be similar to other content; you must ensure your use is lawful.

License to operate the Service

You grant us a non‑exclusive license to use your inputs/outputs only as needed to operate and improve the Service (e.g., storage, processing, and delivery). We do not use your content for training or public display unless explicitly stated.

Commercial use

Paid users may use outputs commercially. Free users may have limitations. Current usage rights are defined by your plan and product documentation.

Third‑party services

We use third‑party providers (including AI model vendors and payment processors). Inputs may be sent to third‑party AI providers to generate outputs. Do not submit sensitive or confidential data.

Disclaimers

The Service and outputs are provided “as is.” AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or unsuitable. You use outputs at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months (or the minimum allowed by law).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk. Sections that should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you live in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those rights remain unaffected.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date and notice where required.
